Diversifying crops
A farmer shows the different crops he planted, including pineapple, ginger, taro, and gabi, to help combat the impacts of drought and disease. This farmer also participated in orchard establishment, which involved the planting of rambutan, lanzones, mangosteen and durian to prevent soil erosion, improve soil quality and protect crops from strong winds during typhoons.
