Different life forms

"I took this pictures to show the many different forms of life that nature contains and the high percentage of rain and humidity of the Yasunì."

Thanks to dense vegetation and evaporation from rivers, lakes and swamps, the Yasuní Biosphere Reserve gets 3000 mm (almost 10 feet) of rain a year, which is thought to be one of the reasons for its enormous biodiversity. The Yasuní region is one of the few places on Earth with at least 4000 plant species per 10,000 km2 , and the Yasuní Research Station holds the world record for the greatest number of tree species in just one hectare (2.5 acres) - 655.
