The MDG-F worked to reduce gender-based violence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, where 23% of ever-married women report having suffered physical abuse, 71% psychological violence and 10% sexual violence. These girls, holding signs that read "No to sexual harassment" and "Yes to equality", were part of an advocacy campaign that included anti-violence messaging in the media, publications, billboards and mobile devices as well as training for journalists and awareness-raising activities for girls and boys.
