Summary
Ying Yang Bao (YYB) are micronutrient sachets developed by Chinese scientists that are an in-home complementary food supplement. They were developed in order to improve the health and nutrition status of children in rural China.
This case study examines the evolution and results of a YYB intervention trial in China to verify whether or not is significantly reduced the presence of anaemia, stunting and improved intellectual development. It concludes with recommendations policy makers and practitioners on the best ways to move forward
