Summary
This document suggests a development methodology for tools to identify populations based on child development in order to analyze their relationship with other contextual factors and prepare child development studies. The methodology proposed is based on three key elements. The first element is the Child Development Index (CDI) that characterizes and compares populations. Once this index is developed, the relationship between child development and potential predictor variables is subjected to a preliminary analysis to define an appropriate model. Third, there is a final analysis to explore the relationship between child development and its underlying factors.
