Summary

This documentation presents 7 case studies implemented under the MDG-F Joint Programme ‘Supporting Gender Equality and Women’s Rights in Timor-Leste’ from which lessons can be drawn as good practices, enhancement, replication, or upscaling of similar initiatives in the future.

The sustainability of the initiatives is taken into account and the document concludes with lessons learned (strengths and weaknesses) that are important for UN agencies and practitioners that continue to support the government in their efforts to achieve gender-equality.
